What should my learner know first?
Short vowels, digraphs and blends. Digraph Stories and Blend Stories cover those, and these stories use them freely.
Do I need to prep anything?
No. Print the two pages for a story and lay them side by side. That's it.
My learner is older but still working on this sound. Will it feel babyish?
There are no grade levels printed on the student pages, and the stories are short and a little silly, so they work for older learners who need the practice too.
What if writing is hard for my learner?
The writing lines are big, with a dashed midline. Your learner can also say the answer and point to it in the word box while you write it. Reading and finding the sound is the main job.
Can I use this at home and in a classroom?
