Spelling Choice Board: Kindness
A February spelling board for any word list, built around kindness instead of Valentine's Day. Learners pick how to practice, and the writing still gets done.
How it works
Choice, with the writing built in.
Choice, with the writing built in
Learners pick how to practice, and the writing squares are spread so every row and column has one.
Moving, talking and building count
Some squares use the voice or the body, so a hard handwriting day still gets real practice.
The page keeps track
Learners color a circle each time, so you can see at a glance what got done.
The same routine all year
Every season's board works the same way, so learners learn it once and spend their effort on the words.
What's inside
Using it
Go at your learner's pace, one step or one page at a time. Read the grown-up guide once and you're ready, no teaching background needed.
Run it as an intervention, a small group or independent practice. It prints clean on the school copier.
Questions
Does it work with any spelling list?
Yes. Use the list from school or any words you choose at home.
Is there an answer key?
No key is needed. The words come from your own list, and the Quiz Me! square has your learner check each word and fix any misses.
What if writing is really hard for my learner?
The grown-up guide shows three ways to set the mix of writing and pencil-free squares, including one where you write while your learner spells out loud.
What do we need?
Your word list, a pencil and two or three crayons. A few squares use things like letter tiles or sticky notes, and each one gives more than one option.
Can I use it at home and in a classroom?
Yes. One purchase covers one classroom or one family.
How do I get my files?
Right after checkout you'll see download buttons, and we email you a link too. Everything is saved in My Library to re-download anytime.
Will it print in black and white?
Yes. Every page is designed to print clean in black and white on a home printer or a school copier.
Can I use it with a whole class?
Yes. One purchase covers one classroom or one family. Buying for several teachers or a whole school? See school licenses.
What if I have a problem or a question?
Because these are instant digital downloads, all sales are final. If something isn't working the way you hoped, or you have any question at all, email hello@wiggle-wise.com and we'll help.
